Rhode IslandKatie completed her undergraduate studies at the University at Buffalo majoring in English and decided to attend law school after taking some time after graduating to gain experience in the work force. Since beginning Roger Williams University School of Law she has sought out extracurricular activities involving the environment and marine affairs, becoming a member of the Environmental Law Society, a board member of the Maritime Law Society, a member of the team representing RWU SOL in the Pace National Environmental Moot Court Competition, and a Rhode Island Sea Grant Law Fellow. In her free time Katie frequents the beaches and nature preserves on Aquidneck Island, seeking out fresh stretches of the coast to hike, investigate, and photograph. Additionally, she enjoys exploring flea markets and thrift stores in search of interesting old objects with her husband.
