Volunteers, undergraduate and graduate student interns, are needed to work in a variety of capacities in CLF's advocacy centers located in Portland, Maine; Boston, Massachusetts; Concord, New Hampshire; Providence, Rhode Island; and Montpelier, Vermont.

  • Blogging Intern

  • David Cavers Law Clerk (Summer)
    Geared towards law students who are between their 2nd and 3rd years. Students will have opportunities to work on a wide variety of legal and policy issues related to New England's Environment. A stipend is provided.

  • Environmental Law Clerk (Academic year)
    Geared towards both 2nd and 3rd year law students during the academic year. Students will have opportunities to work on a wide variety of legal and policy issues related to New England's Environment. Academic credit can be negotiated. This is an unpaid internship.

  • Environmental Internship (Year round)
    Geared towards undergraduates and post-graduates alike, this internship offers a broad view of CLF. Those with an environmental interest and plans for law school and/or a career in the scientific or non-profit world are encouraged to apply. This is an unpaid internship.

  • Communications Intern (Boston Office)
    Interested in learning more about a wide range of environmental issues? Interested in writing and educating the public? This internship is for you!

  • Pro Bono Legal Services
    If you are passionate about environmental advocacy and wish to give your time and expertise toward a cause you care about, CLF may have an opportunity for you.
