So what does Fox News, the Tea Party, and even the Wall Street Journal have to say in response to the question rasied by CLF's Tricia Jedele: Is Climate Change Really Happening? These are the types of organizations that have the power to awaken the public's interest and enrage the public's concerns on all sorts of topics and arguments. Unfortunately or otherwise, Congress votes to get votes. It's members do not want to alienate voters, especially when elections are nearly here. But when other global entities rise to the occasion, such as the European Union’s requirement that all airplanes landing in the EU reduce the carbon pollution that is causing global warming, one would think our country would rise to a leadership position and stand in support of such a globally sensitive plan of action. Now, it's all about money - what will it cost us? But tomorrow it will also be all about money - look what that lack of leadership cost us! It could be about more than dollars - it could be about the cost of life itself.

Come on Fox News, the Tea Party, the Wall Street Journal, and even our Presidential and Congressional candidates - too scared to give us your response? Why would the US Senate bill, S. 1956, co-sponsored by Senator John Thune (R-SD) and Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO), unanimously pass in our hallowed chambers, allowing U.S. airlines to ignore the European Union’s requirement that they reduce their carbon pollution that is contributing to the threat that global warming has on humanity?
