It’s dumbfounding that it took them so long to make the headway they have. BP you’re really shown how your company is run. It is really hard to believe how a major cooperation like BP could be so incompetent. They have been doing this for over a 100 years! This just shows we give them too much credit. This is sad, so very sad. The saddest part of the whole situation is that many people have lost their livelihood. BP will go on, this won’t slow them down that much. But what about the small local businesses? They won’t see much of the money BP has to pay.

Ive been an industrial pipefitter most of my life. I know most of the you dont realize how difficult this work is. Its sad that this happened and that it didn’t have too. I wondered in the beggining why they didnt remove the flange after they cut the riser pipe and install a valve. I think if they had not have been pressured to do something quick they (bp) would have chose this procedure in the first. These men are some of the very best Craftsmen in the world. And I think even though it is tragic, we are fortunate to have these people working so hard to achieve these difficult tasks. Thank You BP and your Workers
