		<description><![CDATA[It is true that Maine is unique in it&#039;s environmental efforts. After recently moving to Southern California, I realized how wonderful Maine is in that respect. No matter what the weather is or what hurtles stand in their way, Mainers always seem to make sure their recyclables are as sorted as can be, lights are turned down, drafts are sealed, and alternative transportation to the car is evaluated as an option for each trip! I think this is amazing for a state that is almost always struggling for more resources. Reading your post isn&#039;t surprising to me either, but I am happy to see that Maine is still leading the way in environmental efforts!]]></description>
