Just think how much the states could do to improve transportation if DC would spend less on drones and bases (almost 1000) abroad etc etc etc and pass back our taxes for state use. CLF and other reporters on needs at home should ALWAYS mention war expenses when describing what states need and cannot accomplish. Until the voters understand the needless and wasteful war budget, the waste will continue.

The Governor has a plan to spend 35 million on the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal which in two years like the "Big Dig " has turned into a 100 million dollar project .The bids are due Feb 15, 2013 . It will be nearer to 200 million.

The South Coast Rail project is a bust ! Who is taking the train to New Bedfore anyway ? While the governor promised the New Bedford Mayor the new railway he also promised the Cape a train also .

Too much money ! Take some of the money making all the people sick with those commercial wind turbines in peoples back yards and build a train route
