CLF awarded Clean Water Network’s Aqua Award!

CLF has been awarded Clean Water Network’s Aqua Award for our precedent-setting work on Residual Designation Authority under the Clean Water Act. The Clean Water Network is a coalition of more than 1,000 public interest organizations that endorse the National Agenda for Clean Water. The Agenda outlines the need for strong clean water safeguards in order to protect public health and the environment.

The Aqua Awards honor exemplary programs and committed individuals who go above and beyond to protect our nation’s precious water resources. The Aqua Awards are the clean water community’s highest accolade recognizing excellence and innovation. Congratulations to the Clean Water Healthy Forest Program!

Aqua winners will be honored at a reception on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC on Thursday, February 26th during Clean Water Week 2009.
