How?
- The public has several opportunities to provide input to DOE during the NEPA process for the Northern Pass Project.
- The public will have opportunities to participate in state proceedings before the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission and the Site Evaluation Committee. More information on these proceedings will be posted here when available.
- Donate to CLF to support our Northern Pass advocacy.
Upcoming Meetings
- Public “scoping” hearing(s) regarding a revised route for the project, to be announced (after route information is submitted to DOE)
- Public meetings regarding the draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), to be announced (after publication of the draft EIS)
- Hearings and state proceedings before New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission and Site Evaluation Committee
Filing comments
- Scoping – Written comments, which should be submitted to DOE (via e-mail at brian.mills@hq.doe.gov). The deadline for scoping comments has been extended indefinitely, and we will update this page with the new deadline when set by DOE.
- Opportunity to submit written comments on draft EIS during a minimum 45-day public comment period
