The CLF Team

Elaine McGrath is Executive Assistant to CLF President John Kassel, providing administrative support to John, the Boards of Trustees and Overseers, and CLF staff.  Prior to joining CLF in March 2010, Elaine worked in non-profit and government organizations, including as a community activist on environmental justice issues in Chelsea, MA, a hearing officer and Asst. Gen. Counsel at the MA DPU, a legal writing instructor at University College Cork/Ireland, a paralegal in legal services offices serving prisoners, and as administrative staff in public libraries, local government, and Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA.  A Boston native, she is a graduate of UMass/Boston and Harvard Law School.
