The CLF Team

Karen Wood is CLF’s Director of Communications. In her role, she is responsible for strategic marketing and communications that help advance the mission of the organization through increased awareness and stakeholder engagement. Karen’s career spans the communications spectrum from business-to-business and consumer public relations to marketing communications and special events. Before joining CLF, Karen was vice president, corporate relations for CNET Networks, a leading internet media company now owned by CBS. Karen began her career at the March of Dimes in New York and has continued her non-profit work as a volunteer for such organizations as Groundwork Lawrence, an environmental concern where she is a member of the Board. Karen is a graduate of Vassar College.
