The CLF Team

Kim Twist is the Office Manager for CLF Rhode Island. She joined CLF in February 2010 after working for more than 25 years as a writer and editor for large corporations and small non-profit organizations. Kim wanted to do good work for the environment and was grateful to find CLF, where she helps to keep the office running smoothly. She has lived on both coasts, on a small island, and on the beach in Florida, but it was New England’s bounty of beauty and history that brought her back up north.

Kim has been published in Cape Cod Life and Newport Life Magazines, writing about the region’s farms and food, and has done pro bono writing for Farm Fresh Rhode Island. Kim is also a serious student of herbs and has a cherished dog named Sasha. Originally from Wildwood Crest, NJ, her parents instilled in her a love and respect of the sea. Kim’s father was the head of the department of public works for many decades where he worked hard to keep the beaches of southern New Jersey so clean and beautiful.
