Robin Just is the Ocean Conservation Program’s Communication Associate. In her role, she builds awareness of regional efforts to balance the multiple uses of New England’s ocean by creating outreach material and forming partnerships with other ocean users. This includes blogging for CLF’s “Scoop” and “New England Ocean Odyssey,” and reaching out to ocean researchers, media outlets, and advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to promote CLF’s regional ocean planning mission.

Prior to CLF, Robin worked for over a decade on water pollution and conservation issues for the State of New Mexico’s Environment Department, the City of Santa Fe, and the United States Geological Survey, as well as with private consulting firms.

Robin holds a Master of Water Resources Management and B.S. in biology, both from the University of New Mexico. In spite of her time in the beautiful Southwest, Robin is an avid surfer of New England’s waves and lover of the creatures beneath them – especially the sharks.
