CLF is a founding member of the Transportation Investment Coalition, an unprecedented coalition of environmental, labor, business, planning, industry and other organizations from all parts of Massachusetts working together to advance solutions to the state’s transportation funding challenges.

Silver line Massachusetts is facing a $15-$19 billion shortfall in funding to maintain our existing transportation system over the next twenty years. CLF is working with the Transportation Investment Coalition to ensure that Massachusetts both maintains our existing transportation system and invests in strategic expansion that will meet environmental and economic development goals. CLF supports transportation funding solutions that will provide adequate revenues to achieve these goals and that will create incentives for environmentally responsible travel.
