Maren Stunes is the Development Assistant for the Conservation Law Foundation. She graduated from Goucher College with a B.A. in Environmental Studies, with a minor in Sociology. Maren attended the Instituto Monteverde (Monteverde Institute) for a semester in Costa Rica, contributing to field research and gaining an appreciation for dynamic sustainability initiatives that tackle climate change. As an undergrad, Maren explored her passion for environmental policy while working as a Water Research and Policy Intern at Food & Water Watch and, later, as a Public Health Intern at Maryland PIRG.
New to the Boston area, you can often find Maren on a yoga mat or searching for Boston’s best farmers markets and bookstores.
