Meredith Hatfield is a Senior Attorney in CLF’s New Hampshire office, where she focuses on clean water, healthy communities, and environmental justice. Before joining CLF, Meredith served as the Clean Energy Program Officer at the Barr Foundation. Her previous experience includes serving as Director of the New Hampshire Office of Energy and Planning and as the Consumer Advocate at the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission. Meredith earned a J.D. and a Masters in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School, and a B.A. from Wellesley College where she was chosen as a Harry S. Truman Scholar. She also earned an animal science degree from the University of New Hampshire. Meredith has been recognized by the New England Women in Energy and Environment and Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships for her achievements. She enjoys exploring the outdoors in all seasons with her rescue dog.
