Marie Lefton, Esq.

Strategic planning, program evaluation, professional development CLF Massachusetts

After a career as a litigator and a management consultant to major law firms, I now harness my experience to analyze CLF’s programs, increase their efficiency, and sharpen their impact.  This lets me do something I am passionate about:  help protect New England’s environment for generations to come.

Marie Lefton, Esq. is a law firm consultant with expertise in business development and marketing as well as strategic planning and implementation. Her deep understanding of law practice management is anchored in her direct experience working with law firms. In 1992 she left Goodwin Procter, where she was a partner in the Trial Department, to become Director of Professional Practice for Mintz Levin. She later served as Fish & Richardson’s Chief Strategic Planning Officer from 2001-2009 before becoming a Principal of Hoffman Alvary, a premier law firm consultancy.  A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School, Marie enjoys biking to CLF’s office from her home in the Back Bay.
