Ana McMonigle is a staff attorney in CLF’s Connecticut office, where she works as part of the Clean Air & Water and Clean Energy & Climate Change programs. Before joining CLF, Ana served as a judicial law clerk at the Connecticut Superior Court and the Connecticut Appellate Court. After clerking, she worked for private firms and the State of Connecticut, where she engaged in civil and criminal litigation at the trial and appellate levels. Most recently, in accordance with the Assigned Counsel Unit of Connecticut’s Office of the Chief Public Defender, she represented indigent individuals in various post-conviction proceedings. Ana is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and New York, and she holds a J.D. from Vermont Law School and a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont. In addition to her work at CLF, she loves staying active outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
