Emma Keaney is the Development Assistant at CLF. She holds a B.A. in American Studies from Connecticut College, as well as a certificate in Community Action and Public Policy through Connecticut College’s Holleran Center. As an undergrad, Emma explored a variety of social justice issues and researched the importance of diversity within nonprofit leadership. She became especially passionate about environmental justice and policy after taking a sociology course on the impacts of climate change on society during her senior year. Emma’s interest in pursuing a career in nonprofit development grew after an internship at the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts.
In her free time, Emma enjoys sailing in Rhode Island with her family, exploring New England with her friends, and finding new running courses for herself.
