Originally from Cambridge, MA, Kaya received a B.A. from Scripps College, and a J.D. and Master of Climate & Environmental Policy from Vermont Law & Graduate School. Prior to CLF, Kaya worked with an array of environmental non-profits in Boston Harbor and as a legal assistant with the Sierra Club in Washington, D.C. She also interned with Earthjustice’s Oceans program and her school’s Environmental Advocacy and Energy Clinics.
In her free time, Kaya enjoys eating, exploring, reading, and experimenting with new crafts. She is a big fan of the ocean and is very excited to be a part of the CLF team!
