Litigation

Dan Winston, Esq. comes to CLF via the Access to Justice Fellows Program, a collaboration of the Lawyers Clearinghouse and the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission.  Dan was previously a litigation partner in the Intellectual Property group at Choate, Hall and Stewart, where he was a litigator for the last 20 years.  Prior to Choate, Dan was a partner at Hill & Barlow.  Dan has practiced a wide variety of complex litigation over 30 years, including commercial energy disputes and environmental cleanup litigation.  Dan and his wife Tira have three daughters.  They reside in Newton, Massachusetts and also spend time in Stowe, Vermont.  Dan enjoys playing guitar as well as many outdoor activities such as telemark and cross-country skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.  Dan is a graduate of Lafayette College (economics) and Stanford Law School, and following law school clerked for the Honorable William G. Young of the District of Massachusetts.
