Win Quayle, Esq.

Climate resiliency, coastal river restoration, in-house legal CLF Massachusetts

I am a longtime supporter of CLF. As I transition into retirement, I am pleased to follow in the footsteps of friends and a former colleague who have made significant volunteer contributions to the organization. Much of my work relates to CLF’s mission to build healthy communities and promote environmental justicesuch as increasing resilience to extreme weather events and addressing the urban heat island effect.

Win Quayle, Esq. comes to CLF via the Access to Justice Fellows Program, a collaboration of the Lawyers Clearinghouse and the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission. Win is also Senior Counsel at Ropes & Gray LLP, where he advises broker-dealers and other financial institutions on securities regulatory issues from time to time. Win retired as a corporate partner and general counsel of that firm on December 31, 2016. He was previously chair of the firm’s corporate department. Win lives in Cambridge, MA and is a graduate of Williams College, Harvard Divinity School and George Washington University Law School. Win and his wife enjoy hiking, X-C skiing, and spending time in Vinalhaven, Maine.
