Lewis DeHope is a staff attorney in CLF’s Boston office, where he works in the Clean Air and Water Program. Previously, Lewis worked as an attorney at the National Environmental Law Center in Boston and the Southern Environmental Law Center in Charleston, South Carolina, where he successfully litigated under the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act against some of the nation’s largest entities.
Prior to practice, Lewis graduated from the University of Alabama and then Harvard Law School, where he spent one summer each as an intern with NELC and SELC, as well as a year as a part-time extern with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office in the Environmental Protection Division.
In his free time, Lewis enjoys listening to the Grateful Dead, experimenting with fermentation of various vegan foods, playing basketball, and reading classic literature.
