February 28, 2023 (BOSTON, MA) – Kate Sinding Daly, a veteran environmental advocate, has joined Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) as the organization’s Senior Vice President of Law and Policy. She will serve as a member of CLF’s executive council and oversee the organization’s advocacy efforts in all six New England States.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Kate to the CLF team,” said CLF President Brad Campbell. “Kate’s impressive experience and passion for her work have cemented her reputation as a national leader in the environmental movement. CLF’s advocacy will only be strengthened by her leadership, and I know she will hit the ground running.”
Since 2018, Kate has served as the founding Executive Director of NorthLight Foundation, where she developed a grant-making strategy for environmental movement-building focused on equity, climate, and conservation. Prior to that, Kate spent 10 years at Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) in New York, first as a Senior Attorney and Deputy Director of the New York Program and then as Senior Advisor to the President.

Kate earned her undergraduate degree at Barnard College, her J.D. at New York University, and a Master of Public Administration at Princeton University. She lives in Portland, ME with her family.
