December 14, 2018 (BOSTON) – Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) issued the following statement today in response to the announcement of recommendations from the Commission on the Future of Transportation in Massachusetts.

“Today’s report provides a bold vision for the future of Massachusetts, reminding us that our transportation infrastructure needs a massive increase in investment and innovation while ensuring equal access for everyone,” said Bradley Campbell, President of CLF. “The report throws down a gauntlet to the Legislature and the Baker administration to act, without delay, to protect the health and prosperity of families and businesses in the Commonwealth.”

At the beginning of 2018, Governor Baker convened the Commission on the Future of Transportation to develop recommendations for a better transportation system based on anticipated changes in technology, climate, and land use. CLF submitted comments to the commission, which can be found here. You can also read more about CLF’s recommendations in this blog.
