Kris Tardiff is CLF’s Associate Vice President for Strategic Litigation. Prior to joining CLF, Kris served as both a Senior Trial Attorney and Assistant Section Chief in the Natural Resources Section of the Environment and Natural Resources Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. At DOJ, Kris managed a nationwide docket of cases and represented the United States in complex litigation involving a wide range of federal environmental statutes and government actions across the country. She is a seasoned litigator with extensive first-chair trial experience, as well as experience resolving cases through negotiated settlements, mediation, and ADR.
A native New Englander, Kris is a graduate of Keene State College in New Hampshire and Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to joining DOJ, Kris served as a judicial law clerk for a two-year term with the Honorable Shane Devine in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire. Kris is admitted to practice in New Hampshire.
