Leslye Steptoe is CLF’s Senior VP for Culture & Equity, based in Boston. She’s spent her 20+ year career expanding access and equity, beginning in postsecondary education before moving into the healthcare space and now, environmental justice. She holds a BA in sociology and education from University of Alaska Anchorage, an MA in sociology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and a PhD in Educational Foundations, Policy & Practice from University of Colorado Boulder.
Originally from Illinois, Leslye has lived in 13 states and now resides in Rhode Island. She is a joyful mom who also enjoys travel, fashion, exercise, logic and crossword puzzles, and making dinner (reservations).
