Jonathan Mishara, Esq. comes to CLF via the Access to Justice Fellows Program, a collaboration of the Lawyers Clearinghouse and the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission. He previously served as chief legal officer of Rhode Island-based FM, a commercial property insurer specializing in engineering-driven and research-based solutions. He was part of the company’s executive leadership team and took part in strategic planning related to product expansion, climate resilience, renewable energy and sustainability initiatives. Jon established FM’s pro bono program in partnership with Lawyers Clearinghouse. His volunteer activities include mentoring and tutoring through Boston Partners in Education, an organization that supports the Boston Public School community. He earned a JD from Boston University School of Law and a BA from the University of Michigan.
Jon lives in Boston and enjoys biking, skiing and exploring the city’s neighborhoods. Growing up in the Boston area, Jon always had a passion for public transit and will participate as a member of CLF’s Transportation Justice team.
