A New England environmental group can move ahead with new claims in an adaptation lawsuit against a fossil fuel producer accused of failing to adapt its facilities to climate change threats.
Chief Judge William Smith of the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island issued an order yesterday allowing changes to the Conservation Law Foundation’s complaint against Shell Oil Co. and related companies.
