Farmers across New England are adopting regenerative agriculture – rooted in Indigenous knowledge, as a way to make their farms healthier and better prepared for climate impacts such as increased rainfall and extreme weather. Regenerative farmers can also play a role in combatting the climate crisis. However, if more farmers are to transition to climate-smart regenerative agriculture, they need sufficient technical and financial support.
